HelpAge Cambodia

HelpAge Cambodia (HAC) is a locally lead NGO and the only organization working on aging rights in Cambodia. HAC works across three provinces; Battambang, Banteay Meanchey, Siem Reap, and other provinces of Cambodia.

Since 1992, HAC has worked for older people in Cambodia with the vision of coming together to empower older people and their communities. Together, HAC and the community challenge age discriminationwork to build an old-age inclusive societyresearch, and develop a sustainable economic and physical security framework.

HAC takes an on-the-ground approach to develop integrated solutions for the complex issues of aging. HAC supports a range of programs that focus on 8 core areas – health, home care support, access to clean water, income generation, social-cultural inclusion, governance participation, aging rights, resource mobilization, and environment.

HelpAge works closely with the Royal Government of Cambodia, including several central ministries and provincial departments with the present and goal of bettering the lives of older people in Cambodia.

HAC was officially registered at Cambodia Ministry of Interior on 12 December 2012. Please click here to read the letter in your preferred language of KHMER or ENGLISH (Letter number 1755 SChN).

HelpAge continues to work towards a future where older people lead a dignified, secure, active, and healthy life.
