HelpAge Cambodia

HelpAge Cambodia (HAC) is a locally lead NGO and the only organisation working on ageing rights in Cambodia. HAC works across three provinces; Battambang, Banteay Meanchey and Siem Reap provinces of Cambodia.

Since 1992, HAC has worked for older people in Cambodia with the vision of coming together to empower older people and their communities. Together, HAC and the community challenge age discrimination, work to build an old-age inclusive society, research and develop a sustainable economic and physical security framework.

HAC takes an on-the-ground approach to developing integrated solutions for the complex issues of ageing. HAC supports a range of programs that focus on 8 core areas – health, homecare support, access to clean water, income generation, social cultural inclusion, governance participation, aging rights, resource mobilisation and environment.

HelpAge works closely with the Royal Government of Cambodia, including several central ministries and provincial departments with the present and goal of bettering the lives of older people in Cambodia.

HAC was officially registered at Cambodia Ministry of Interior on 12 December 2012. Please click here to read the letter in your preferred language of KHMER or ENGLISH (Letter number 1755 SChN).

HelpAge continues to work towards a future of where older people lead a dignified, secure, active and healthy life.
